Comment:
It's actually a CD, but I entered it as a cassette to maintain the theme, which also aligns with the two sides of an album. This collection only came about because of an all-covers (debut) album I am working on for my side-project band, the Mustang Mummies. The theme is songs with name of boys and girls in the title, with Side 1 being Boys and Side 2 being Girls. This is the collection that I made for the myriad musicians performing on the record that needed to be familiar with the songs.
As a side note, two singles are planned: "Danny Boy" and "Janie Janie", and each of those will feature the respective track from the album, in addition to a bunch more bonus songs that couldn't be squeezed into the original 22-song lineup. Later on, I'll send up a mix of those two EPs, as well as leftover songs that we wanted to do, but couldn't for whatever reason(s).
Feedback:
Cover me impressed with this name game. Like the eclecticism --- not often that you see Donny Osmond, Wadsworth Mansion and a Flock of Seagulls rubbin' shoulders on the same mix
Wow, Michael Jackson did Ben. One the creepiest convergences of song and artist ever?
This is fantastic. I always dig well done themes--and the starting track is my favorite MJ. I'm weird like that.
