Comment:

We English are expected to have a love/hate relationship with the French.Personally I expend all my energy on exploring their vibrant music scene,present and past,leaving me no time to indulge in petty prejudice.Of course I do harbour prejudices:I am jealous of their language,which to my ears seems far prettier than English,and their cuisine,which shoves ours into the shadows.But their music......the French can't rock,can they?They have no pop sensibility,have they?
Give this mix a try and you may no longer think of Gallic or garlic pejoratively.My apologies to French visitors and Francophiles for some glaring omissions;and for being obvious,but Poupee De Cire Poupee De Son happens to be one of my favourite songs.

I certainly could do a volume 2 but I intend to move on across the Atlantic;the next instalment of Earglobe will be devoted to Canada.
