Last weekend we went to Bradford and Leeds.This mix was our soundtrack.Why Bradford,a north English town in need of a successful Olympic bid to guarantee it some much needed regeneration?Kathryn had a business meeting there.While she was oiling the cogs of the great British economy I was applying a salve to those beyond the reach of the tender tendrils of the welfare state;yes I was trawling charity shops for discarded treasures.I found little and retired to the National Film and TV Museum which was a much more satisfying experience.By the time we got to Leeds everything was closed except the pubs so reluctantly we partook of an ale or six.Not me,of course,being the driver and quite respectful of other people's lives.Feedback:
