A Wan Irie Likkle Place - Romance (Jamaican Style)
Comment:
Well, my girlfriend has been "delicately" noting that I haven't made her a mix in some time. So, as I was happy to oblige I felt this mix would do the trick. As it is 180 Degrees with 110 percent humidity, here, in New Jersey, I felt this mix of Jamaican styled love tunes would be well received. Ska, Rocksteady, Dancehall, et al...it's all here, mon.

Feedback:
some great stuff here, love the melodians and yellowman pics especially.
Nothin' like steamy weather love. And, reggae, of course.
Almosted stumped here but Sally said it well.
Looks good.
By any chance is that "La La Means I Love You" a Delfonics cover? (I'm not even gonna ask about "Puppy Love.") Nice work.
Very nice.
Cool theme.
Yes, La La Means I Love You is a cover. Many of the Motown Hits were covered by Jamaican Groups back in the day. This is one of those examples.
For a good listen of the like, see the Studio One Soul release.

Really lovely, and perfect for the summer, even if the NJ temperature isn't ideal! I'm sure she'll love it. Cool cover too.
Very nice indeed!
I like it, I love it, I want some more of it. This mix is like a double decker organic ice cream cone, with free range sprinkles and wild fudge sauce. And powdered sugar. Delicious.
Lots of great stuff here.
Love it mon. Especially the Bob Andy, Alton Ellis, and Yellowman.
Val Bennett and Dennis Brown? Championship
Wanna trade for this? I went to Negril 4 times in the late 80's, and loved it. Wonder what it's like now? I recall dancing to a cool song called Bam Bam by a guy named Tiger, I think. Know it?
marvellous, 5-8 are really ACE
Feelin' irie mon! Love the stretch 10-16 especially.
