Comment:
By no means a theme. Just some fine bits from some of my favorite uncaped crusaders. And for the uninitiated...a little bit about the cover art: A special-ed teacher, an FBI agent, and a UFO? That's right, you've guessed it------- The Greatest American Hero. This show was first aired in 1981, and was both a comedy and a drama. A special "power suit" that only works on him is given to the teacher by the aliens, and he is paired up with the gumshoe FBI agent who keeps them both busy with his scenarios. The suit of "unearthly powers" gives the power of strength, flight, invisibilty, flames, telekenesis, vision of events without being there, protection from bullets and fire (if he remembers to cover his head!), and some others that he must figure out as well because; HE LOST THE INSTRUCTIONS THAT CAME WITH THE SUIT!

Feedback:
NICE. That "She Turns to Flowers" song is awesome, as are several other things here.
The Mighty Temps and the Patti Smith get to me in a big way-very nice.
Liking that opener and what Terry said.
Don't know the show but I do like this mix!
Great stuff! Ah, what a breath of fresh air....
My least favorite Temptations track, but the other stuff that I recognize looks cool.
Lost the instructions, ha!
Lost the instructions, ha!
Very nice.
I saw Fear in 1982 in LA's Chinatown. Good band and a fun time. Although I'll take thier originals rather than a cover version. Would you want to do a trade for a Sufjan Stevens cd or two?
Another excellent mix, musicgnome! And while it doesn't really fit with these tracks, I'm surprised you didn't try to sneak in the show's theme song "Believe It Or Not," which was sung by James Taylor and is included on his "Dad Loves His Work" album.
This listing exudes fun and energy!
now this is a MIX! great selections, and man does that show bring back memories.
another great one.....
what I know I really dig
So cool! Like Orchid said, very refreshing.
Believe it or not, you're flying on air, my friend. I'd love to hear that Daisy Chain song, as well as the rest of this mix for that matter. Anything I can offer in trade???
