Comment:
Borne of a spontaneous suggestion from a co-worker to exchange mixes, this particular collection of tunes - my first, no less - carries disappointing little meta-mix value due to the lack of any overarching theme. I had (and still have) no idea what she's into, except that she likes Tegan and Sara which I equated to her enjoying indie pop/rock (for reasons I cannot recall, the Tegan and Sara track didn't make the final cut.) I played it safe and threw together a bunch of sunny tracks and gave mix-flow primary focus. Very singles-heavy, I guess, and minus three points for using the most overplayed Postal Service song ever, but nonetheless I really like the general feel and track-to-track transition anyway.Oh, enjoy the backside of the jewel case insert, brought to you in crappy resized .gif-o-vision. When I get around to it, I'll find some way to host images of the front and back of the insert in their proper glory and post the links here. Until then... suffer.

I can hear that three thru' seven stretch, in my head, and I like it...a lot.
