Comment:

A que-sera-sera jumble of styles built around the "just for the hell of it principle," whereby "I've got nothing better to do" gets substituted with, "Why not make a mix, Eddie?" You know how it goes, right, folks? The mix alternates between vocal and instrumental tracks, save for the 7-9 instrumental stretch. The Ayler oddity is thanks to Nick F. and the Scofield track is thanks to Mr. Musicgnome.

This looks wonderful and a great example of the just for the hell of it principle which I really dig.

Is that Johnny Smith from the Mosaic set? I always liked that Scofield record, more than any of his other efforts as a leader. And isn't 'The Word' a good time? That was on heavy rotation the summer I got it. I like your closers too. Too bad about the bad plus.

Cool! Nice mix of styles here, and, much like George, I heartily dig your for-the-hell-of-it principle. like the BRMC and Ry Cooder a lot.
