This is disc one of a two disc mix that goes out to my friends Thom and Vesna. Disc one is for the day and disc two is for the night or at least thats the plan. We'll see what happens when I finish the second disc.Feedback:
Lovely to see the Turtles Happy Together on a mix - without any question the best pop single in the world ... ever!
Oh... and am I missing something subtle with the title or are half a dozen or so of these artists well... not American ??

Love to see "Letter from an Occupant" on any mix, but when it grooves alongside The Beatles, Of Montreal, Beulah, Mountain Goats, The Replacements, The Clash, Apples in Stereo, Violent Femmes, Johnny Cash, Frankie Lymon, Joan Jett, Paul Westerberg, The Turtles, and the best '80s song of all time ("Come on Eileen"), well, that's what I call a once-in-a-lifetime masterpiece. I fail to see how this mix could be more awesome. The selection of artists along (never minding which of their songs you picked) is stunningly flawless. Nothing but love love love for this
