We rule the school, by Belle and Sebastian. Very mellow, something to end it up.
Better than a After School special. Suggestions? Well there's "Be True To Your School" by the Beach Boys, Van Halen's "Hot For Teacher" and the Replacements' "Fuck School," which has always been a favorite of mine.
'Good Morning Litte Schoolgirl' which has been covered by just about the whole world and his wife would appeal to my sewer mind!
Great mix and theme - if you need additions how about Stanley Clarke "Schooldays"
Hah! I'm working on a similar mix for my friend Jane, who's just headed off to college - my mix also has a couple of leaving home & growing up songs. And quite a few cuts that you've got here, plus a few that specifically refer to college. For yours, I'd suggest Mickey & Sylvia's "Love Will Make You Fail at School."
