why Old Soul Song? i don't think there's anything wrong with that one, but why did you choose that one, if you don't mind me asking... and what about Neutral Milk Hotel, i've heard their/he's kind of an institution, or a... bit of a legend in the indie-folk history books.

I love Neutral Milk Hotel, and completely respect, appreciate and acknowledge their legacy, but opted to keep them out of the mix because I'm anal rentitive about making a mix flow. that includes mood, production quality, tempo, etc. the production on all these songs are fairly clean, while Neutral Milk Hotel's work has that fuzzy, lo-fi sound. if the fellow hasn't heard Neutral Milk Hotel (which I'm sure he has), he can find them easily enough by reading about other artists on this mix.
and as for Old Soul Song? I don't know, I like that song. it's probably my third favorite song on that album (following Poision Oak and Train Underwater).

I just keep coming back to this mix, it is AMAZING! I've listened to this cd for a year now, and I'm definately not tired of it!
