Comment:
It's a Jungle in Here is still my favourite outing by John Medeski, Billy Martin and Chris Wood, but there's fun and funky stuff to be found on all the band's discs. All of MM&W's albums are represented here, with the exception of Farmer's Reserve and a few re-mix albums. Tonic, a live album, isn't included either ("Hey Joe" from Tonic was included on the first go-through), although this is ironic in that MM&W is best experienced in a club setting. Most of this mix is upbeat, so I've left off some of the more experimental stuff from albums like Friday Afternoon in the Universe.Feedback:
I'm in the dark here so I will have to check them out.
I love this band, and this looks like a great compilation.
Nice. Been a fan of theirs for a while. Have a friend flying in from Oregon who would love this.
Looks great, Edward - I also like their stuff
(have "Friday...", "End of the World..." +
A Go Go -- with Mr. Scofield). You really can't go wrong with M M W's funk stylin'.

A good band. I have a few of their albums and would love to get the rest. Would love to see them live some time too.
nice one Edward!!!
I don't know this at all but I am intrigued.
Looks like an excellent overview.
