Technically, this is my first mix, as the link above contains all six songs as one seamless, crossfades-and-everything mix. It's an experiment, and as such I'd love some feedback from those who have the patience and time to download the file. If people show interest, making more mini mixes (this small only because of upload/download times) like this -- available to all through this site only -- is something that interests me. Sure, this, too, probably contravenes the laws we all breach when we trade, but as this is melded together as one file and not single files, my conscience is not QUITE as compromised as when I trade. (I still love trading, and will continue to do so, as I love acquiring new music and using the music I receive in my own mixes. As I said, this is an experiment. Props to Curtis Burns for paving the way and to Kent for Roxio.) To download, click on the link, then click "free". I love the Ulmer, Davis, Mayfield & Sharrock tracks...
Well I plan to give it a listen, thanks. The main problem with electronic trading that I have encountered is the slow upload. Most of us use DSL or cable modems that tend to go fast for downloads and slow for uploads. But CDs have gotta go, esepcially now that people starting to first thing rip them to mp3 anyway.
