Both this mix and the accompanying Another Night are the result of an alternating DJ file exchange between lostinthejazzmix and myself. But rather than sending each other just one song at the time, we often submitted several songs and had the other pick the best one. In the end we reorganized the track list to achieve an optimal flow.

The music on this mix could be described as Appalachian meets alt.country meets bluegrass. Every third song is an instrumental. What unifies this mix is its mellow, blue mood and a mid-tempo pace.
