Comment:
Another Mix Inspired and Sourced from the pages of the Galatic Zoo Dossier. This article, found in Issue #3, focuses on those bands who strayed from the British Invasion Style of music prominent in the mid-60s. Rather, their focus was on primal, raw emotive music which eventually gave birth to punk and lo-fi aesthetics. But, rather than just a exploration on the roots of other genres, these are all absolutely incredible works of originality and invention in and of themselves.Enjoy!

Whoops..."*"s indicate either songs, bands or albums discussed in the article. Others are additions to further flesh out the wonderous sound of Sub-Rock!

Fantastique!
Almost missed this one! Lots of great songs represented. Unknown by unknown is a killer track. Is it the live or studio version?
Nice one, and I'm glad I'm finally able to comment on this (my time in the non-internet wilderness has finally ended!) This is really great stuff, and a great overview of the genre. I love the Pink Floyd and Monks tracks.
