To my shame I've never heard any of these songs, but it's the sort of theme that makes me beam in pure nerdishness. I'm definitely going to have to go on a downloading binge to recreate this!
Very nice. I was a little shocked you managed to avoid Sufjan Stevens, but that probably would've been too easy. Props for starting with Red House Painters, I love that one.
