Comment:
Another mix inspired by and culled from the Galactic Zoo Dossier. This one focuses on the underground, communal artists, such as Faust, Amon Duul, Traffic Sound, International Harvester, et al "*". Additional bands are included whom also exhibit similar musical approaches. The music is strewn with tribal beats, chanted mantras, eastern influences and overall repitition. The tracks tend to be lengthy (hence the three disc format). Important to note, three bands listed in the article are not represented. They are Israel's The Churchills, Pre-punk era Destroy All Monsters and the predecessor to Kraftwerk, The Orginisation. Anyone willing to trade a copy of those artist's works would find a copy of this mix in their mailbox. Anyhoo, hope you all enjoy while dancing around the bonfire.

Mmmmother's milk.
Nice to see Pearls Before Swine, Holy Modal Rounders & Incredible String Band. Some of my old favs. Some interesting new stuff too.
Well cool.
Mostly stumped hear (here) but looks great.
Holy mother of GOD! This is so gorgeous. Ghost into GYBE into Faust!!! I'm hearing that in my head and loving it. Fantastic mix.
Ditto hemizen but it looks extraordinary!
Don't know very much of this but it looks fascinating.
man. this makes my mix look positively sobre!
Wow! I confess to knowing very little of this - but would love to know more. Great cover too.
Fascinating concept!
I'd swap all my material possesions to beat my bongos to this. Maybe even off a pig or two.
Not exactly the kind of stuff you see and hear on VH-1, now is it? I'd beat my bongos to this naked as well.
Oh my goodness, this definitely tells me that I still have a lot to learn! This looks really good - I love what I know, like the Godspeed..., ISB and Pearls Before Swine. Very nice.
Absolutely fucking tremendous--really, really top-notch. Okay, you should definitely include these GZD mixes at the top of my "wishlist"...
Super! Especially the Group 1850.
