Comment:

Another mix inspired by and culled from the Galactic Zoo Dossier. This one focuses on the underground, communal artists, such as Faust, Amon Duul, Traffic Sound, International Harvester, et al "*". Additional bands are included whom also exhibit similar musical approaches. The music is strewn with tribal beats, chanted mantras, eastern influences and overall repitition. The tracks tend to be lengthy (hence the three disc format). Important to note, three bands listed in the article are not represented. They are Israel's The Churchills, Pre-punk era Destroy All Monsters and the predecessor to Kraftwerk, The Orginisation. Anyone willing to trade a copy of those artist's works would find a copy of this mix in their mailbox. Anyhoo, hope you all enjoy while dancing around the bonfire.

I'd swap all my material possesions to beat my bongos to this. Maybe even off a pig or two.

Not exactly the kind of stuff you see and hear on VH-1, now is it? I'd beat my bongos to this naked as well.

Oh my goodness, this definitely tells me that I still have a lot to learn! This looks really good - I love what I know, like the Godspeed..., ISB and Pearls Before Swine. Very nice.

Absolutely fucking tremendous--really, really top-notch. Okay, you should definitely include these GZD mixes at the top of my "wishlist"...
