INDIA MIX #2
Comment:
After the longest wait (& the gentle nudging of abangaku and his latest mix) we now have `India #2'. - Slightly less Trippier & a little more varied than `India #1' ?As well as the inclusion of a couple of more `Popular' Artists from our Hit Parade, we have a couple of Funkier little tunes..........
`Our man from BomBay' is quite interesting, as it came on 7" Vinyl with no info on, as to what speed it should be played at ? I regularly play it at both speeds, not least because it makes me smile ! Here we have it as its most likely (45rpm), but I'm sure I shall be tempted to share an alternative lazier mix (of 33rpm) at some later date !
Rounding off nicely with a pretty decent mix, of a pretty decent cover of the Dave Pike ultimate Sitar Funk classic `Mathar', which I believe (told by a friend of a friend) Paul Weller played Sitar on ? So, lets continue with those Tabla's and Sitar's Brothers & Sisters !!!!!
Feedback:
This looks very cool.
Another cracker Paul.
I shit you not, but I only just went on AOTM to take a look at your first India mix. And here this is, at the top of the list. It looks great. There ain't no funk like the India funk. I'd love to hear it.
This looks great.
Sitar light, Sitar bright, first sitar I see tonight
I wish I may, I wish I might
. . . hear this mix someday!

I like the idea of playing at the wrong speed - I had a butt holes surfer single that I always played at 33 instead of 45 - more chilled . . . .
Very nice. I'll bet this sounds wonderful.
Great lookin' mix!
