Comment:

I've tried to put together a varied collection of covers. Most are pretty faithful readings - Calexico's take on the Love classic in particular stays close to the original template. There are a few though that rework the original and mould it into something new, most notably Matt Wards breathtaking Let's Dance and I just adore Sam Beam singing Such Great Heights, gorgeous...

The ones I know of these are all covers that put a different spin on the original -- I've never quite seen the point of a "faithful rendition" cover version . . .

Exceptional! Is there any chance you could be convinced to upload the rest to megaupload.com or somewhere similar on the net? This is spectacular and the ones I haven't heard I now desperately crave.
