Comment:

It's wet and cold here in the great central valley of California, and the music in my head is starting to turn melancholy. This is a mix of the kinds of stuff I need to listen to this time of year, sad tunes punctuated with some rockin' tunes to keep the blues from taking over...

"Seattle" is a good rainy day song, and as a segue to Patsy Cline's "Strange", might I suggest the Doors' "Faces come out of the rain /
When you're strange . . ."
or would that be too strange?
anyway, a fine bugladyish assortment here - I'd come & get it if it weren't so WET out . . .

Really, really nice stuff.

There's that R. Stevie Moore again...it's like a sign of some sort.

nice, buglady. I like the variety of your mixes, the mood. I'm working in Seattle w/ a big window in front of me and it's been snowing for the past few hours. everything's turned white, unusual for these parts. Tom Waits' "Pony" is on the stereo, so now we're all melancholy here too.

One green apple don't spoil the whole bunch girl. Great to see you back here again with another plate full of goodies. "Come And Get It" is my favorite Beatles -- I mean Bandfinger -- song.

Looks beautiful, and just perfect for this time of year. Reminds me of looking at a frosty morning from inside a warm house! I love the whole Lloyd Cole --> Nat King Cole stretch.
