Comment:

Somewhat condescendingly subtitled "a collection of soothing melodies to ease the pressures of everyday human existence", this mix tape was originally made in 1991. The song choices, for the most part, seem like they were dated by about a year or two past what I was listening to at the time, by design. In the days before CD changers and huge iTunes playlists, this and Volume II (which I'll hopefully unearth soon, as I believe it may have been just slightly better than Volume I) were sort of the "dim the lights and break out the haikus" tapes in my repertoire.
