There are a bunch of artists in the 3 CDs that I've heard but would not have known to connect to Scotland. Nice collection. How many hours of daylight do they have in Inverness this time of year?

The same amount as they have in Kilmarnock. It's not as dark as some would believe:-)

These are great. Oddly enough, I have been brainstorming exactly this kind of mix for a friend over the last few days. Lots of stuff here I didn't know was Scottish. Also lots of stuff I've never heard of (esp. on vol. 3).

Oops, I guess it is finished. :-) I'd love to get copies of these at some point, although it can obviously wait 'til after the holidays. Speaking of which: happy holidays to you & yours, my friend.

Just to give my appreciation to this disc as well - nice one on including Mr. Middleton. I'm going to be in Inverness for New Year so I'm hoping it won't be too dark ;)

Nice selection. Kind of miss one of my favorite bands though - The Silencers.

As Mike Myers used to say on SNL - If its not Scottish, its crap.

Great Proclaimers song, that. Other nice choices too. I didn't know the Pearlfishers were Scottish.

This is excellent - however, I would dispute the Scottishness of Marillion - Derek Dick may well be from Dalkeith, but the rest of the band at that time were Aylesbury boys. I'm not going to pick hairs, however, excellent job. And did you know that the most requested band on Dubai radio - and they do a regular sell-out tour here, is . . . the Proclaimers! Apparently they did a lot more than walk 500 miles (aahhh!)

A wonderful collection. Chronological aswell? It appears to be (with the exception of Kayleigh). Too many highlights to mention. But special praise for Strawberry Switchblade ,CRR, Delgados. I love the Roddy Frame track. Oh, and how did you get The Blues Are Still Blue so early??
