Comment:

In the spirit of good times hard driving punk and alternative, a very old mix from 1991. Other songs: Sting's "I Miss You Kate" is a b-side with no vocals, a really nice jazz spotlight for keyboard player Kenny Kirkland. The House of Love song is a rarity from their "Spy in the House of Love" compilation. The Dread Zeppelin track is the perfect synthesis of adrenalized Jimmy Page riffs, reggae beats, and Elvis stuttering vocals--possibly the parody band's best recording ever. The Cowboy Junkies track is from the "Pump Up the Volume" soundtrack. All this would have been very cool in 1991, I promise.

Really nice stuff, indeed. Looks exactly like a mix I would have made back then. Any mix that starts off with one of my favorite R.E.M. tracks will always grab my attention. Nice picks from the 'Mats, Pixies and Cowboy Junkies too.

Cool enough now too; That's a great HOL track & kudos for Sting just the way I like him - silent.
