Wow, this sure looks impressive.
This is an extremely moving mix. Monolithic but delicate at the same time. The Shostakovich is what really does it for me.
it's lovely the way Ms. Dietrich's voice comes fading forward out of the mist of beautiful instrumental music that came before. also especially enjoyed the Shostakovich prelude at #8 and the closing quartet had me stunned as well. impressive!
