Comment:

Part 2 of my radio recollections sees me plundering my hard drive for radio sessions and this disc is a collection of covers hidden within. Thanks to Curtis_Burns, g.a.b. l@bs and Saaf for their station recommendations. I guess in my previous mix I should have used the word deterioration rather than demise as a few of you correctly pointed out there is still some great radio out there if you know were to look. The advent of the internet has given us the chance to listen to stations from all over the world and this can only be a good thing, one big global radio village or something. Ive been listening to KCRW for quite a while now, and am a big fan of the Morning Becomes Eclectic show hosted by Nic Harcourt (a word of warning - stay clear of his recent book 'Music Lust', its ok i guess if you are into lists but the writing is disjointed and at times pompous) anyway I digress, Most of these songs and indeed from the next disc come from that show. By the way Today FM is an Irish station based in Galway. Thanks listeners, ill be right back after these ads with #3...

It does look nice indeed. Unlike volume 1 whrer i knew (and loved) every track there is much to discover on this. I'd love to hear tk 10 in particular.

The Twighlight Singers do great covers and I love Billie Holiday but that song does bad things to me.

Great follow up to #1, Mr. Dali.
Given the right DJ, radio, @ times, has indeed been my sound salvation.
