1 of 4 in a series...

A collection of the avant, experimental and not-so-mainstream musical selections...prepared for a soon-to-be-had trip to the Museum of Modern Art in New York.

A Tribute to Curtis Burns, Shawn Porter & Nick Falivena whom inspired these mixes via their constant explorations of paths less traveled.

Awesome. That Jack Rose->Gil Scott-Heron stretch looks mind-meltingly great. I've been wanting to hear that Burning Star Core disc. Oh man, I haven't heard the new Growing either.

Already something from 2006 - way to go. MoMA is a trip, and so is this mix.

Cool stuff - I know Thuja, Growing (new album rocks), Tape and Fennesz, but I'll have to check out those others.

This is sewn together professionally. And, I may have to steal the cover art crown from #2 to give it to this disc-o here. I wanted that antipop v. Shipp disc to be better, but it is still pretty mind melting. I was hoping for full-on Last Crusade head-reduced to skull melt. And I am glad you are digging the Schlippenbach trio.
