Comment:

4TH in the listen with difficulty series. Bruit translates to noise and this mix is a joyful noise. I like each and every track though admittedly the Dead Meadows track is mercifully only 2 minutes long. I've been saving tracks for this one for months now, Helen's away to the UK working for a few days and asked me to make something for the 'bump' to listen to; somehow don't think this is what she had in mind but it's my way of trying to manipulate the baby's listening tastes - start em young is what I say. This one goes out to Barrydali who seems to really appreciate this series. Dare YOU ask for a copy?

Only know the Panda Bear, Low and Wooden Wand, does seem like a challenge to the vestibulocochlear nerves. Well mixed sir.

Just up my street . . . . not as traditionally indie as some of your mixes . . . which means remarkably, I know quite a lot of this (listen with difficulty indeed !) Very nice.

And enjoy it I do mate. Love 7-13 in particular from what I know. Difficulty? Nah, easy peasy.

Indeed (what musicgnome said). I actually like your "listen with difficulty" series more than most of your mixes (fine as those may be), so this is a welcome addition to the canon.

You say this unlistenable Cliff, but when you've got such an ear for a great tune ( as the cover art clearly demonstrates ) I'd say this would be something everyone should listen to...

...for one brief moment I thought this was a mix 'bout Henry Cooper & his predeliction for the contents of that green bottle...The Nico & Death In Vegas are the only 2 I know...Keep splashin' it all over Cliff!

The nice thing about manipulating said "bump's" taste is he has no idea this is a difficult listen. He'll probably rather like that Grails, Death In Vegas, & Ghost...of course this will have ramifications for you, years later, when he's a teenager taking over your stereo and your near...hmm...60+...

Speaking of "bumps", a former co-worker felt her twins jump around every time they heard Ian Dury's "Sex & Drugs & Rock-and Roll". Never underestimate the pure absorptive genius of new life!
