Comment:
WEEZER: numbers 1-10 are from their newest 'the green album' & numbers 11-14 are the bsides from said newest / FATBOY SLIM: this is a damn good song. it is just killer + deserved to follow weezer / ALANIS: I didn't much like her last album, with the exception of a few songs, including these two. they're pretty + that's a big deal for me. prettiness and wordiness and such / LEONA: I was especially awed by the line in chase "why do I always chase the ones that run away?" cos that was my previous personal anthem. BUT. no longer. the second & third are just plain lovely, as leona naess songs generally are / JIMMY EAT WORLD: honestly, these two songs are just pretty neat + I needed something my boyfriend hadn't heard by them yet. no major plan or anything / STEVIE: these are from her newest as well, 'trouble in shangri-la' and from these two you'd think I was unhappy but I'm not. I'm very in love and all that gooey stuff / SHEA: this reminds me of an ani difranco type song, and being an ani fan, I was awfully taken by it... shea is horribly talented, also. go download some of her songs!!! / RADIOHEAD: it's acoustic. it's creep. it's an amazing version / SMASHING PUMPKINS: I used to wanna marry this song, back in my pumpkins phase (which was when this cd first came out) + now I still like it and think my boy should get better aquainted with it. ----- the title is from a new radiohead song, not on the mix but still cool. also, I say it a lot to everyone, so it's fitting.Feedback:
recording a whole album doesn't constitute a mix, dumbass.
weeell, it's only side a. it's not exactly a mix, however. more of a collection of songs. not EVERY thing posted on the site is an actual, honest-to-god mix. AND. I have no idea if you're being jokey or simply an asshole with that 'dumbass' part.
