Oh my gawd! Oh my gawd! Oh my gawd! IT'S ALMOST SUMMER VACATION!!!!! My inspiration to make this mix was the Talent show our school had in early May. I put Take A Bow after Let It Be because after you sing that you HAVE to take a bow. You guys are going to be so jealous. I'm going to go to Cancun, Chicago, Los Angeles, and Guadalajara!!!!!!!! So my parents and I (Doowad and Ika) have figured out that I'm missing my last day of school (May 29) BUT, I'm NOT missing my swim party the day before. So right now I have a lot of SUMMER FEVER!!!

I'm going miss you both, but I'll release my sadness here at AOTM!I also love the Ting Tings most of all (well after the first two). Belanova is also a favorite and I am kind of liking that version of Beat It, too! Love, Daddy-O

Well I was going to advise you to pay a visit to Amoeba records in LA but then I remembered you're not a middle aged man who's an obsessive record collector. Whatever you do I hope you have a fabulous time and I guess I'll just have to make do with your dad's mixes while you're not around :)

Flip Flops! Damn them all to hell! I hate Flip Flops. I do so like the summer though -- waddya gonna do? I have it! Listen to this excellent mix in bare feet. Well, it's worth considering... Oh do what you must, wear the blessed things, just keep them away from me. Bloody Flip Flops! I hate 'em!

ooh, awesome picture, and yeah, i love how "let it be" leads the mix into the celebration after the fadeout... like just, how that kind of mentation just fades away in the sensory summer.
