Comment:

Enslaved are one of those rare metal bands who evolve and still remain pretty consistent (though IMHO there's not a flawless album in their discography). Starting as a black metal band with heavy debts to Bathory, now they've recently released their new album "Vertebrae" which, just as expected, contains its share of good songs. Speaking of which, as can be seen from my song selec_tion, that is one of the reasons Enslaved are so highly touted by metal-loving folks. Though they're no Opeth, almost every cd from them contains an outstanding gem of a song, and that's something... Last track cuts (TM Rob Conroy) were "Balf÷r / Andi Fara / Epilog," "Storre enn Tidd - Tyngre enn Natt," "The Cromlech Gate," "Enemy I," "The Crossing," "Neogenesis," "Entroper" and "Ruun". Enjoy!
