Comment:
Yeah, so, some of these songs are not very romantic. But, you know.. I have a crush. One of those "we've only been out once and we didn't kiss even though we both wanted to but holy crap do I ever still want to kiss you" things. You know.C'mon, give me a break for the mush-factor.. he's gorgeous and has incredible taste in music. :)
Also, this is supposed to be some sort of thank you to him for introducing me to Cinematic Orchestra. How on earth do you thank someone for something like that? This will have to do.
Title is from the John Vanderslice track, and it's one of the best all-time lyrics, ever. You're not allowed to argue with me about that. :)
Feedback:
Glad to hear tales o' the crush. I know where you're coming from on this one. This looks great. I recently saw M. Ward. Kid tore it down on guitar, I thought.
dig it. i like the way you didn't pick the obvious tracks so much as the ones that flow best together. and great reminders of the greatness of more obscure favorites.
The lead-off song is my favorite on the mix, but that's not say it goes downhill from there. Some nice choices.
