Comment:
You're all invited to my all night 60's rave! I've always wanted to throw a party with a swingin' 60's theme where some of the best dance music from that era would be played at an extremely loud level and everyone would dance themselves into a sweaty mess. A 'thank you' goes out to Paige for the Zombies track (Zombies rock!). So bring your skinny ties, knee high boots and some sugar cubes and Dance The Night Awaaaaay...Feedback:
great tracks, all of them.
These are great selections. That Cream song does not show up here often but I did use it in a mix once. Land of 1000 Dances, Nobody But Me... wonderful.
Dancable rock & soul- I like it! (well except for the Creedence song...but then I always hated that song =)
I'm *so* at your party! This mix looks killer -- ah glory days when rock and roll music was actually fun to dance to...now all we have is pop to keep our asses moving.
this mix is pure class
You go-go girl! ;) Looks like some great stuff from top to bottom. Especially dig the Eyes, Fire (I have about five mixes with that song on it) and the Creation
just what Gerry said
Good stuff! especially love Farmer John...check out my Requiem For A Black Haired Go-Go Dancer Series!
Got my velvet jacket ready, where's the party?? Great tunes! Cheers. -AF.
Mmm. I can be Carnaby. Outstanding tracklist for a Swingin' 60s rave-up..!
Wow! I can't believe I missed this mix first time around! This is a great time!! And I have always wanted to throw the same party! For years!!! (The closest I ever got was 'TisWas at Donhill's or a couple nights at the old Coney Island High...) If this party ever happens, I want to be there and I want you to be the DJ! ;)
Wow, kickin' mix! I haven't heard the original "Cool Jerk" in a looong time! Some bands I don't know, that I'm definitely gonna look up...
Oooooh, how could I miss this mix:) What the other kids said, this is a fantastic 60s mix! Keep on dancin'!
