This is a compilation cd I did for Cerys Matthews, (after the Catatonia split.) She played in Cardiff in June 2003 and I passed this cd on to someone to pass to her (always a chance). The cd has a bit of a country feel to it, which I knew she'd like, I also knew she liked The Cardigans and R.E.M. Apparently Cerys used to busk and play the R.E.M. song Superman... I also heard her say in an interview that Gathering Moss was her favourite Super Furry Animals song at one time, and I put a song by unsigned Welsh artist Curerbell on there, There's A Fire, as it featured a few lyrics dedicated to her, it also has her former drummer Aled, playing drums on it. Three months later, I get a card through the post from.... Cerys! Saying thank you! I was so pleased. I just never had a name for the cd... I always find that quite hard.
