Comment:

60 minutes long. Short and sweet, hopefully like most childhoods. Cartoons nowadays just don't have that youthy feel and innocence they use to. Everything must be so mature, or super-competitive. Alot of the cartoons from the 70s-90s were bad, I won't deny that, but at least they were fun, and for the most part innocent fun, sometimes even with a message (gasp). Offered here are 26 classic cartoon tracks, 7 non-cartoon tracks, and 2 current cartoon tracks (Dragon Ball Z and Digimon, both were included because I think they are pretty funny). Highlights of this album include both side-openeres, He-Man and She-Ra, what 80s cartoon album could be complete without these tracks? The movie themes of G.I. Joe and Transformers, plus the syndicated show themes. Two of the greatest non-cartoon themes of the 80s, Magnum, P.I. and Knight Rider. Two of the greatest early 90s cartoon themes, X-Men (which I would want in dirge form played at my funeral), and the forgotten gem that is Earthworm Jim. There is a minor Simpsons theme that runs throughout the album that starts at the middle of side 1. Truly one of the greatest tv shows ever, well the old seasons anyway. I hope just reading alot of these titles brings back good memories to all, and maybe even a tear or two, of joy and despair.
