Comment:

60 minutes long. Why? I ask you for the love of god why?! Why no mummies?! Where the hell are they?! This is the question I have asked since 1995. I have played Magic The Gathering CCG since 1994. Cyclopean Mummy came out in 1994 but that was it. No other mummies since then. Sure there have been creatures that have looked like mummies over the years but they are all invariably either a lich or a zombie.

This is the grave injustice festering within me since 1995 that has fueled my fire to make this all mummy themed album. I wanted to make sure I uploaded at least one mix tape this year, and this is it. Since my Halloween 1-8 tape series is over.

When I See Mommy I Feel Like a Mummy is one of my favorite songs.

I added Arthur Byron speaking from The Mummy (1932) at the beginning of Figure's The Mummy (2011) and it is quite nice.

Lee Ross drops a hidden gem from (1958) in the form of The Mummy's Bracelet.

Also not to be missed is The Tammys belting out Egyptian Shumba (1963). Not well received when it is released, but it is now considered to be one of the best girl group songs from the 60s.

Scientist lays down some ultra cool mummy jams with The Mummy's Shroud (1981).

Closing the album is the melancholy The Curse (2010) from Josh Ritter. Check out the marionette video!
