Comment:

Okay, so this is part two of my favourite slow songs list. I made an exception of my "one artist, one song" policy for Sheryl Crow. Her album Tuesday Night Music Club came out when I was 8. My parents bought it, and by the time I was 12, I'd "borrowed" it from them for good. It's folky and FAR superior to anything and everything she's done since (in my humble opinion, of course). And her duet with Stevie Nicks is from the Practical Magic soundtrack (which is actually one of my favourite soundtracks of all time as well). I made another exception for The Temptations because "Stand by Me" and "Lean on Me" are wicked in their own right, but are practically inseperable in my mind for their awesomeness. ...it's also apparent that Ben Lee's "Aftertaste" was a rather recent addition to my favourites list since he's out of alphabetical order, but OH WELL. I'm always in search of amazing mellow songs to add to my collection, so if you have any suggestions, offer away!

very nice, ProphecyGirl. I didn't like Stevie Nicks when I was younger, thought she sounded like a granny. now I am older and (somewhat) wiser. one of my favorite S. Nicks slow songs (w/ a country flavor) is After the Glitter Fades. and another amazing mellow (and sexy) song I've been into lately is A Few More Kisses to Go by Isaac Hayes. check it out.

Thanks for the suggestions. I'm checking them out as I type. The Stevie Nicks song was so-so in my opinion (but i'm a bigger fan of folk-Stevie than country-Stevie). And Isaac Hayes and Ares Lite are in a conspiracy to thwart me at the moment... *grumble, grumble*
