Comment:

I made this mix for my mate on his 20th birthday. He's big into 80's music, so I tried to keep the focus there. Mixed the new wave together with some funk, hip hop and dance. We had the party out in his backyard with the sun raging, the free beer flowing and a BBQ goin', so I went with a nice summer vibe on most of the songs to help compliment the day.

I am lost in the 80's now. Skinny ties rule! Nice stuff, dude, though I prefer an ale to a lager.

Good stuff. Always nice to see some hip hop on the website that has "mix" in its name. I ♥ the 80s, Gap Band, Style Council, XTC (a/k/a Dukes of Stratsophere) and free beer. Make mine a STEEL RESERVE LaBatts.

Plenty of faves. Love the Echo, Style Council (which I heard playing over the PA of the local grocery store yesterday), ESG and XTC especially.

Great stuff. Love the 12-14 stretch. But the inclusion of Back In The Day is wot won me over.

Hell, me and the swede might listen to Neil Diamond all day if we could some get summer sun action!!!!
But, turn up the Gap Band and let's swing with the Feelies! Watch my drink....
