This theme (songs about music) has probably been done before, but whether it has or not, here's my contribution! And don't knock my choices ... I love most all genres of music, and this truly represents a cross-section of my CD collection. I hope you find the list entertaining!Feedback:
Sing it proud! I always meant to make a mix like this, about songs that reference music. Damn you for doing it first and no doubt way better. One fantastic song you may or may not have deliberately forgotten: "Life is a Rock (But the Radio Rolled Me)" by Reunion. Check it out if you haven't yet. As for this mix, my faves are Carpenters, Phantom Planet, Everclear, Rolling Stones, and surprisingly A*Teens. They may be a gay teen pop group, but they do it so well :) And all your choices anyway are pretty neat for your theme. Cool job, fun mix
