DJ Karen's dark nightmare continues...I tell you what, Karen; I don't need to hear this or even speculate about it. This is an aural, gothic, vampiric, epic. The first time I heard "Bela Lugosi's Dead" was a seminal moment in my life. I was driving a Transit van through the dark, rain-lashed streets of Lancashire, listening to the god-like Peel show. There was a huge bass bin in the back and tweeters galore in the front. "tackada-tackada-tackada-tackada" echoed around me and then that scraping guitar gouged into my ears; I'm dead, I'm dead etc. Oh yeah, and sweet baby Jesus. I was bitten and drained. Had to wait till the morrow to get me hands on the 12". Ah 10 minutes of life-changing cacophony. Sad, but true.Oh, the rest of this mix is pretty damn fine also. All the songs fit together to create the mood, I've no doubt, you intended. No matter what anyone tells you, Karen - this is bleeding fantastic! Take five stars through the heart right now.
Just put me headphones on. You are an HTML demon aren't you. :)
So many bands of my youth! Lots of great shows! Love the Killig Joke song...
Looks like a whole lot of classics.
Hot damn, how did you do that??!?
PS you can practically smell the eye-liner.

The opening 6 & the closing 4 are all time classics. That's pretty much the whole of this mix. Good one!
that Bauhaus pick sends shivers down my spine . . . .
. . . . and shit you scared the life out of me with Joy Division starting like that . . . I wasn't expecting that! Cool
That is existential for sure. Nice work DJK.
Apparently Firefox does not respond to BGSOUND. At least, I'm not hearing anything. But I can tell it is a cool mix.

Flawless as always, but I expect no less from the Mistress of the Turntable... "Pleased as always to help my friends and neighbors," said Beadle Bramford.
