Cruella (a.k.a. Nest of Vipers) has been making marvelous mixes for almost everyone on the site lately, so I thought I'd acknowledge her generosity with a concoction created especially for Ms. Deville. It's not much different from some of the mixes she's posted here -- fun and slightly off the mark pop songs that keep the toes tappin' and the eardrums thumpin'. The only downer is the sad news that HR Pufnstuf's Jack Wild died yesterday at the age of 53. Freddy the magic flute is shedding a tear.

This looks like it's a lot of fun to listen to. Like the 5th Dimension, Mates of State and Belle and Sebastian, and it's nice to see Kahimi Karie there too. Cute cover art as well!
Very good. Thought it was going to be a mix of elephant songs with that title and the two opening songs but my disappointment was mitigated by the fine selection that followed. Recently heard that Ken Nordine track and momentarily beige became my favourite colour.
I'm diggin' that latest Belle & Sebastian. Can't decide if it sounds more Kinks or T. Rex.
Oh, Ken Nordine too. I listen to his "Word Jazz" program on the local NPR station. Yeah, that's right, I listen to NPR.

"Fun & slightly off the mark pop songs", that's what I like Moe! The few tracks I know here are great. You don't see much AM60 on this site but I remember being very fond of that particular track back in the day. Is tk18 by Mr Goldie hawn or another Kurt Russell?
