Comment:

It's another one of those For The Hell Of It mixes, created in a dark bedroom on a beautiful sunny afternoon here in Southern California. I think it was time well spent. I had Sammyg123 in mind as its recipient (see track 2 for further proof), as he was kind enough to ship out some of his fine mixes recently. The middle section features lots of exotic percussion, including San Francisco's The Dodos, one of my favorite bands at the moment. Also tacked on some synth pop for all the kids with a Howard Jones poster on their wall. Applause for P the Swede for track 5.

Depeche Mode and Wolfgang Press tunes are two of my favorites here... I'm sure listening to the whole thing would make me look a lot like that purple person.

Very much in the dark with a lot of this... but "Business Time" is a pretty key mix track these days. Where's that damn second season?

I can't wait to hear this. I don't know if you have a good memory or if it's pure coincidence but you suggested the opener here for my Clap Hands mix about 2 years ago. So it'll be great to finally hear it. Miniflex, VW, XTC and The Mode are all top knotch - the rest? Brilliant, I'm sure...

Totally appropriate for sammy and very much in line with all of your superior mixing strengths, my friend. Nice, summery work.

You surprise me, I never imagined you as a pragVEC fan. It's great to see Phillip Boa on here, he's an artist that one thinks nobody but oneself has heard of. I really must hear the Ruby Suns.

Love the concept and I'm trying hard not to take offense as I glance up at my beloved Howard Jones poster on the wall...Seriously, I know very little of this except, umm, the Depeche Mode track...:::kicking at the dirt on the ground, staring down self-consciously::: No doubt this is lovely to listen to...
