Comment:

From the stationary of Moe: Years in planning, but only days in execution: an alternating dj mix from me and Rob Conroy -- two salty old buddies who have been posting on AOTM for a combined 13+ years. Starts out on the sticky disco dancefloor and takes some odd twists and turns before landing in the middle of a Brazilian church service. Rob's comment below reveals who was odd/even, but I think most of you could have figured it out on your own. I think we're both pleased with the results of our teamwork -- hopefully you'll agree. Title paraphrased from the Spunky Spider track. Cover derived from too much time spent in photoshop.

From the legal pad of Rob Conroy: Thanks a million to Moe for agreeing to do this. Classy, fun picks all around (even the Mark Ronson and Gloria Gaynor songs!) from a classles... er, I mean classy mixer and one of my oldest pals around these parts.

Wow a mix by Rob & Moe! What could possibly be better? I don't think I know a single cut here, and yet I'm sure it's all wonderful. El Vez covering Wall of Voodoo? A band called Les Breastfeeders? Anything by Operation Ivy? I'm thinking . . . YEAH!

I'm wondering why I don't have anything by the Breastfeeders, that's a terrible oversight. When two giants collaborate one can only expect......a lot of tracks I don't know. Notwithstanding that, I know this is good.

At Last! I always wondered how a collaboration between you two would sound...can't wait to hear it for myself. Nice work, gentlemen!

Figured with the two of you mixing it would double the odds that I'd be familiar with the tracks, but instead they appear to be halved. Obscurorama! I needs to do me some shoppin'!

Cassette Players, Giraffes, Statues of ladies with no arms, mixes by Rob and Ion, just a few of my favourite things... I look forward to the link. Oh, and Moe, like your style - following 'Boris' with 'Spunky Spider'...
