Comment:

"If you want to work here, close! If not, your gonna be shining my shoes." Glengarry Glen Ross and this tape I made the other night (see Happiness Is A Warm Guitar) gave me the inspiration for THIS tape, all Closing-Tracks of some of my fave recordings. The LedZep is my fave of all time, followed by "Big Sky", the best closer I've heard in a long-ass time. For those Ministry fans out there, you know how precious that live "Stigmata" really is! The Living Colour/Concrete Blonde segue harks back to my days as a college DJ, as I would often close my show with those two, usually at around 5:45 am, as the sun was coming up. And what tape of all Closers would be complete without the silliest of them all, "Her Majesty" from Abbey Road (and, yes, I did put about :15 of silence before it appears)???

Totally awesome!
I feel the same way about Siouxsie and the Banshees "Little Johnny Jewel." I've used it as 'last song, side 2,' for a number of mixes.

this is fantastic. i think as a closer, "bold as love" does the best job of all. but they're all great, and as you say, "her majesty" is a must.
