Cowgirl Cantina
Comment:
Fraternal twin of "Live at the Sands"... where the party turns drunk and raunchy. The first track is actually from a Lone Ranger LP, so there's a bit of story attached to the song. Still no Hawaiian, hmmm...
Feedback:
Hot diggity, you did it again. Glad you invited Sweet Gene, Kool and the Captain.
The Buffalo Girl goes to a Rubber Rodeo & dances up a storm!
This sure does look like a boppin sugar shakin good time, enough to make the Lone Ranger & Tonto take off the mask & get down.

Wonderful. Love that Kool & the Gang and Beefheart pairing.
I want this. Dig everything about this.FUN
This looks marvelous, all your mixes do... but is anyone else as disturbed as I am about the cowgirl's right hand? Hope you get MOTW.
Cool stuff.
Hahaha, the right hand bothers me, too.
Gene Vincent, Black Oak, TOP and Cool + the Gang in one spot....YOWZA
This is wonderful! Thank you. As far as the right hand goes, she obviously had an accident with a branding iron, don't you think?
Real cool selections.
wow , this looks like a allot of fun to me. and groups like "Red River Dave & the Texas Tophands" and " Black Oak Arkansas" are not easy to find. great collection you have here.
just excellent!
Hot as always.
This kicks ass. I cannot begin to say enough good things that would be adaquite to describe how perfect this mix is! You've out-did yourself again. And, I have to agree that, that right hand is a little disturbing. I think it's great. Love to have a copy!
This looks really great... not sure why I didn't comment on it before. I think my favorite thing here is "Blue Jean Bop"... that's my top G. Vincent tune. And Black Oak Arkansas (!)--you don't see them on a mix everyday...
And now that I've experienced *this* one, let me opine that it's a rollicking bareback ride into the center of the Id--all in all a good thing, really. :-) My favorite tracks belong to Bliss Blood, Positively Stompin', Gene Vincent, the good Captain, Clyde McCoy, Red River Dave and the Candymen Orchestra.
Sorry I'm late to the party. Am digging Gene Vincent, Carl Perkins and you can never go wrong with JSB Explosion.
Come see what is now being served at the Strangely Empty...
