ALIVE AT SPRINGBREAK '06: Perfect Place To Celebrate Differences Then Get Your Freak On
Comment:
Feedback:
This looks great--a Spring Break mix that I'd actually *like*, in addition to respecting it! :-) (Sounds just like the girl I Iong hoped to meet--fruitlessly, of course--during my Spring Breaks in college all those years ago...) ;-)
tasty!
looks real good, DJ Karen. that last track gets me dancin like no other.
Wonderful!
Got me freak on, got me dancin' shoes on, got the deep heat to aid muscle recuperation the morning after (though at 29:30 I should stay the distance)
Fantastic! I lost my freak some time ago, otherwise, I'd be gettin' it on. This mix makes me wanna drink beverages from belly buttons all Spring Break-like. Play it again DJ!
It hardly feels like Spring Break around here (though I am wearing a Speed-O at the moment), I'm sure one listen to this would put me in the drunken pool party mode. Love the Jungle Love bookends and that Commodores song has always made my foot tap, but what's a studio recording doing on a live album??
Kudos Karen, another tasty butt wiggler with a little mind-opening philosophy thrown in. Beauticious!
Marvellous. I bopped away to my hearts content. Two of my all time faves appear on this (3&8) so I knew it was gonna be fab. Hope your fine vain of form continues...
Moe: The Commodores Live! album was released to promote the group's current tour. They would have been touring with Emotions, who were burning up the charts with "Best Of My Love" and "Don't Ask My Neighbours" at this time.
Record companies add new tracks to Best Ofs and Greatest Hits as a part of the holiday-formula. Motown Records used the lone studio track as a promo device on the live release way back in 1977. It worked. This song was #1 in the R&B Top Chart and #24 in the Pop Top Chart.

Jungle love & chocolate salty balls! - this is a whole lot of fun, thanks for sharing it out there, it certainly opened my ears (AND mind) . . .
Fun...much thanks for a good listen!
Flawless.
Thanks for all of your comments.
Well really sorry that I missed this . . . looks like a lot of fun . . . disappointed that you didn't generate a 'rant' this time tho . . . better luck next time. G
