Comment:

Originally the "inspiration" for this mix was during a brief period of boredom awaiting a lift home from university. I pondered to myself that it was high time I whipped up another mix cd for my doting father to listen to...This was the end result.

"They are coming. There is nothing more."

By all the saints, what's this? You sacrifice the best years of your life and how do they repay you? No, wait...this is actually a very nice gesture. Aha! I may qualify for that parental award yet.I will endeavour to be objective. No really, I will. This is an excellent and moody mix. All the artists reveal their "sensitive" side. Gorgeous. It captures that moment between waking and sleeping, when sounds echo cathedral-like. Disconcertingly beautiful. I trust you will believe me that this was unexpected -- and all the more enjoyable for it.I may be the first and last to comment upon it. Nonetheless, it is good and deserves to be heard. Follow the link and warm your heart. Kids eh? The truth is I love this guy.

Your father's comments brought a tear to my eye. Glad you've embraced this site & hopefully this mix is the first of many. I'm about to listen to this mix...Looking forward to doing so ( and I promise I won't fast-forward the Machine Head track! ).

Ye gods! This looks like an interesting assembly. I'm not big on Tool but let me tell you the first two tracks here have me sold. Im a sucker for that Pantera cover too. I shall listen to this in its entirity very soon. Welcome aboard. A chip of the old block methinks.
