Comment:

Browsing through the LA Times today I picked songs to match some of the stories in the paper. Vein of Stars was for "Graviity's Field of Dreams" about an observatory in Washington, Don't Give Up (Africa) was for "Sudan's Bloodshed Claws Deeper Into It's Neighbor". Marker in the Sand was for "Hamas Pledges Attacks on Israel." Thin Blue Flame was for "3 Faiths Find Common Ground Against War in Iraq" "Killings Drop 11% as Crime Totals Decline" was why I used Crime in the City. The Red Sparrows track was for a story about a architect convention in town this weekend, Ooh Las Vegas refers to an article about a crooked justice system in Nevada. "Shipping Industry Sees Signs of Slowing" was the inspiration for using Pay Me My Money Down. "Leggiest Millipede Seen Again" was why I chose Long Legs. (Should have used ZZ Tops Legs!) A article calling out Ann Coultier made Sweet Neo Con an easy pick. A pastor putting a curse on the Ontario City Council was why I chose Crazy. Stevie Wonder's mother passed away, she helped him write Signed, Sealed, Delivered. Concerns about racism in Germany during the World Cup inspired the Elvis Costello song and lastly, the American Film Institute saluted Sean Connery...now he can go home and listen to The Scottish Rain.

Good Night
