Comment:
I've just returned from a week-long fishing trip in Northern Ontario and now, refreshed and full of crisp Northern air and Walleye, I decided to put together a mix of some favorite tunes from some favorite Canadian artists.I don't own any Bryan Adams, Arrogant Worms, BTO, Cowboy Junkies, Celine Dion, Guess Who, K.D. Lang, Gordon Lightfoot, Lover Boy, Men Without Hats, Nickelback, Rush, Buffy Sainte Marie, Steppenwolf, Triumph, Shania Twain or Gino Vanelli or this might have been a very different mix.
Feedback:
I have been listening to Leonard Cohen and Neil Young a lot lately so I feel your groove.
It just means some more Canada mixes will be forthcoming... Great Title
Tracks 14 - 20 are by three of the finest artists ever. That they are Canadian is an unfortunate accident of birth. Otherwise I am aligning myself with the mix title. Hey, I mean no disrespect...
Our money's on Leonard Cohen, The Hip and Mr. Neil(formerly of Crosby,Stills,Nash and sometimes Young).
Er, I like-to-love tracks 14-17 and 19-20, but the rest of this (to me, anyway) makes a case for placing a high tariff on Canadian rock 'n' roll imports... ;-)
OOOH, Canada! (Hey, I have a pet rock, it's a punk rock... with a tiny mohawk and studded collar.)
hey, thanks for the comment.
