Comment:
One small, insignificant sin, and He's gone. Without a trace. No response to my pleas for a response. It's as though he never existed. You can't tell me this was justified.
Of course, that moron Solomon is doing just fine. It doesn't bother anyone that he almost murdered that child, no, in fact they call it his Wisdom!
It's too bad that my earthly legal system doesn't extend to the divine, or there'd be one massive entrapment charge pending. Your Honor, I'd like to introduce into evidence exhibit A: one decomposed apple core. And can anyone account for your whereabouts, Lord, when this supposedly demonic serpent approached Eve?
I wait for Him to apologize.
He's trapped me in the material world. I can have anything I want, save for that which I want.
He thinks He can get away with this? He thinks He's unaccountable?
I'll show Him otherwise. I'll wait Him out. He'll come to His senses.
I wait. A disconnection, inspired in part by Joseph Heller's God Knows. Mix #54, made in June of 2006.
Feedback:
Nicely done! Great thematic explanation as well. Now you DO need a cover for this!
Wasn't there something about strange and mysterious ways? ;-)
There's no god - you must help yourself.
How very apposite in a world over-stocked with emptiness and off-the-shelf religions. I disagree about the "mysterious ways" thing. There's no mystery at all; and therein lies the problem and the solution. Excellent thematic collection.
Cool mix!
