Comment:
so i was dreaming and i walk into the neighborhood bar and Tom Waits was there and i bought him a drink and we decided to make a mix and this is the result. i woke up with a hang over.... The lovely Nest of Vipers provided the Ricki Lee Jones track.
Feedback:
Brilliant! Love almost every second of this. Hurrah for Terry & Tom
You are on a roll these days, my friend. Has Tom been around pretty often? ;-) (Just kidding--really, really nice work.)
I think this mix is worth the hang over; Hoagy, Louis, Rickie (you're welcome), Neil, Joni, Randy... Dr. Dre is wonderfully unexpected.
Very cool.
Very cool.
Zorn into N.W.A./Dre into Waits with Primus = awesome.
what a great night to hang out with you and Tom and listen to stuff like this
Nothing wrong with this that $100 wouldn't fix ..... excellent mix, totally up my alley .... were you two shooting billiards with a midget by any chance?
Great mix, Terry. Digging that Dr. Dre into Tom Waits.
Excellent, excellent. The 6-10 stretch is, well, extremely cool..
I want to be in your dreams.
Interpret that as you will.

entirely too many highlights to name - but any mix that uses both NWA & dylan & doesn't seem forced is alright in my book. this is excellent.
Nocturnal visitations from Tom -- too cool. All I get is Armand Assante! Great mix.
Well I guess you would deserve a hang-over for hanging with this crowd.Great stuff, loads to love but the Chuck E. Weiss pick is a personal favourite.
So it was hemizen on odds and Tom on evens? Great result, either way.
having recently been in your neighborhood i can understand tom coming around.
agree with everyone before me ... this is some real real magnificent stuff ... bravo
Crazy-eclectic in the best kind of way
This has something for the whole family to enjoy! Indeed, this is a potential MotW contender. Love everything save the Young and Newman picks. Good work.
Wow. Sorry I'm late to the party on this one. Rob's right, you ARE on a roll these days. This looks really spectacular.
Sah-weet. That's some lucid dream ;)
I am familiar with all here so this is a nice one-stop shop. Good work.
Dreamy. At least you didn't wake up with Tom Waits. You'd want to change the sheets after that.
Hmm, I'm with Moe. Not literally..otherwise..well...ok, let's start over: Great mix here for a dream sequence! Into the bar walk I...
I want to be in your dreams with Tom Waits and Bruce Springsteen....
Interpret THAT as you will.

Great source of inspiration!
It's ridiculous how happy I get when I see Neil Young's name on a mix! Especially when paired with Dr. Dre. Looks great, hemizen.
I wish I had that sort of dream...minus the hangover, of course :) Fantastic collection of songs you've got here! Particularly like the Elvis Costello and Rickie Lee Jones, and I like the general vibe of the whole thing. PS: Sorry to comment so late on this one!
