Comment:

This is the mix that will probably get me kicked out of the AofM. No art involved. Like some of you that I know of I am working on a top 50 favorite song mix. That is a long way away but these songs are in my top 100. I hit shuffle in that file and this is the order and the songs that came up to fill a 80 minute disc. A lot of aged and dated songs you say? Well since today is my 54th birthday I guess I have a lot of history to pick from. I love all of these tracks but I was please to see Marvin Gaye's "What's Going On" show up because that is my all-time favorite song.

nice! - what art is and is not is purely subjective - there are some people that are so artistic and alternative that it becomes non inclusive and uncomfortable - thank you for speaking your heart through some of "your" favorite songs.

Happy Birthday Terry (pay attention to the line about Peter Pan...

...it's what your title, here, reminded me of (love the debut T. Petty album, too).

Classic pop and rock all down the line. As everyone here already knows but this mix demonstrates yet again, you have some of the savviest taste in music. Very few of these would be in my own top 50, but I can easily see why they would be in anyone else's, and frankly I may have to re-think mine with these in mind now, particularly for the Jimmy Ruffin, Pixies, and Who choices. Looking forward to your eventual top 50 mixes!

Can't believe you included one of my favourite Pretenders-tracks, I just downloaded it last night. The rest looks great too. Hope you had a good birthday!

Happy Birthday for yesterday Terry. What a marvellous mix. Delighted to see that Psychedelic Furs track here - love that. But it's pretty much all classic stuff..

Sorry I missed your birthday, and can only give belated well-wishes! But happy birthday! I love most of these, and those I don't, I haven't actually heard before... so I'm guessing I'll love them too, judging by their company.

Great mix! Some of these would easily be in the debate for my top 100 tracks as well. I think I used the Kinks track recently on an unposted mix... Congrats on the birthday, homey!
